BSHEQ recently partnered with a family-owned Civil Engineering company in the Midlands to help them secure SSIP accreditation. The business recognised that their existing safety management system was outdated and lacked the internal resources and expertise required to update it or manage the accreditation process.
We began with an initial consultation to understand their needs, including which SSIP scheme would best satisfy their clients’ requirements. Once the appropriate accreditation was identified, we carried out a full review and refresh of their safety management system.

We managed the full SSIP application on their behalf, and it was successful. On one of their flagship projects in Yorkshire, BSHEQ were appointed as CDM PD Advisor. The works involve the complete removal and disposal of the existing brickwork and timber-clad façade, followed by the installation of fully compliant, non-combustible systems in line with current building safety legislation.
