With over 20 years of experience in building safety, our Building Safety Act Lead, Paul, brings extensive strategic and operational expertise to every project. Having previously worked at director level, Paul has managed and supported construction safety on major large-scale developments, including The Hanwood Park Development, Midland Metro Alliance, and Royal Houses. Paul now provides expert training, mentoring, and development support to help businesses and employees meet regulatory requirements and strengthen safety culture.
BSHEQ Lead Health and Safety Consultant
A highly qualified safety professional with chartered status across safety and health and building engineering, and registered as an OSHCR consultant. Marcia provides national support as CDM Principal Designer and Client Advisor, with experience across civil engineering works and complex high-rise remediation projects, working effectively with both project teams and Principal Contractors. With a strong track record in PQQ and CHAS assessments, Marcia's specialist strength lies in interpreting organisational needs and delivering practical, real-world solutions. Her career includes 17 years at Leeds City Council, progressing to Senior Safety Advisor, followed by senior consultancy and management roles, where she led teams and delivered projects on time and to budget.
Health & Safety Coordinator
Joining BSHEQ in June 2024, Kyle brings a strong technical foundation supported by TechIOSH membership and recognised industry qualifications, including NEBOSH certificates in Construction Health and Safety and Fire Safety. Holding a White CSCS Card and certified as a Face Fit Tester, Kyle has a solid background in site inspections, fire risk assessments, system reviews, and assurance visits, alongside supporting SSIP accreditations such as CHAS, Constructionline, and SafeContractor. Currently studying the ISEP Foundation Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Management, Kyle is known for a clear, approachable communication style when working with clients, contractors, and site teams.
